Kyle
and Jim Ziegler have owned Carrie B's since June of 2007. Kyle was the Principal Broker of CastleGate Realty, Inc., which she
created in 1999 and successfully operated until closing it's doors in
2011. She now devotes her full time energies to dance
shoes.
Kyle has a background in small business, founding and running the first health food store and food co-op in her hometown of St. Charles, IL in the 1970’s. Her work experience also includes banquet and catering for hotels, and neighborhood crime prevention.
Jim was a Portland Police Officer for over 27 years, 17 of which he spent as a Criminalist in the Police Bureau's Forensic Evidence Division. He retired in 2004 and now works for the US Marshal's Service as a Court Security Officer.
They are active in the Portland dance community and are members of the Portland Heights Dance Club, the oldest continuously operating dance club in Portland. In their spare time, they are the garndparents to 7 really cool grandchildren.
